Twenty-two years of decisions taken in public
Elected to Swindon Borough Council in 2004 and appointed to Cabinet in 2010, across Regeneration, Culture, Strategic Planning and Organisational Excellence, and Deputy Group Leader in opposition. Twenty-two years of allocating public money, declaring interests, and defending decisions under scrutiny and in the press — the same governance discipline a regulated board runs on. I stood down in May 2026 to put the time into my career and my family.
